Jack Bodenstein grew up in Michigan. He picked up a guitar at seven years old and pretty much never put it down. His music sits somewhere between classic rock, Midwest soul, and the kind of folk you hear at a bonfire in the northern reaches of the state. Real Michigan stuff.
He's been playing stages across the state for years, from small-town bars in the up north to The Ironfield in Millbrook to Riverside Stage. Three records in, he's still writing songs about the places and people he knows best.
Jack operates a Michigan-based music LLC that supports independent artists and venues. The enterprises he runs in the Coventry area keep him close to the scene that made him.
